Sooner than expected, the Munich tax office informed the association that it fulfilled the statutory requirements under Sections 51, 59, 60, and 61 of the German Fiscal Code (AO).
This means that Climate Fiction Writers Europe e.V. is recognized as a non-profit organization in the sense of promoting art and culture as well as environmental protection, including climate protection.
This entitles the association to issue tax-deductible donation receipts for monetary and in-kind donations as well as for membership fees.
