Astrid Ann Jabusch was born several decades ago in Hagen, Westphalia. She grew up in the nearby rainy Sauerland region, where she learned several respectable professions (watchmaker and electrical engineer) and worked in them for many years. At the end of the last millennium, she returned to Berlin, the city of her ancestors, and now earns her living as an editor and author not far from the Spree and Havel rivers—previously often and happily working as part of a team with her now deceased partner Thomas R.P. Mielke.
For years, she has been writing for the now sadly defunct online women’s magazine “Miss Tilly.” Since joining the Murderous Sisters, she has been planning and committing gruesome murders and heinous crimes. (So far, only in writing, though.) She is the inventor of the first handbag in which women are guaranteed to find everything again, and that’s not the only reason she is one of the most creative Berliners west of the Havel River.
I am involved with Climate Fiction Writers Europe because we authors can and must do so.
