Marion Laub was born in Munich in 1974 and combines two great passions: technology and creativity. For almost 20 years, she worked in project work in development for the BMW Group – an exciting chapter that accompanied her until 2020. But since 2009, her heart has been beating for another field: photography. What initially began as a sideline became a true vocation over the years.
Since 2020, she has dedicated herself to photography full-time.
Her focus is on people and fashion photography – for models, designers and magazines, but also for private individuals. Whether it’s a portrait with a strong character or a creative staging – with a great sense of aesthetics and atmosphere, she captures those moments in which personality finds its expression.
When she’s not out and about with her camera, Marion likes to immerse herself in stories, preferably with a book or audio book. She particularly enjoys reading the manuscripts of her husband, Uwe Laub, and regularly does the initial proofreading before the texts go to the publisher. In addition to her creative work, she is committed to animal and environmental protection.
Marion lives and works in Munich – with a big heart for people, pictures and good stories.
She has taken on the role of treasurer for the Climate Fiction Writers and manages the social media channels.
I am involved with Climate Fiction Writers Europe because you can shake people up with stories without pointing the finger at them. Watch your footprints!
