Wasserfallsturz (Waterfall Fall)

Tranquil country life my aunt:
A thrilling crime novel in the middle of the Mur Valley

Policewoman Franzi Fürst has had enough of Vienna – she needs a change of scenery! Newly divorced, the single mother moves back to her father’s farm in Styria with her two children. But the supposed return to peace and quiet soon turns out to be a mistake: Franzi’s former teacher is in a coma after a fall at the Günster waterfall, and things are not quite right in her dreamy home village of Schöder either.

– A gripping start to the crime series about the returning chief inspector Franzi Fürst

– Deceptive idyll: regional crime thriller with lots of exciting twists and turns

– Great vacation reading, perhaps even for your next trip to Styria?

– Mysterious connections: will Franzi find the solution in Styria’s dark past?

– A gift for crime fans to puzzle over: an Austrian crime thriller full of local color

– Set in the Mur Valley: Can the new chief inspector solve the case?

This is not how the former Vienna police officer had imagined her move to Murau: Instead of a quiet everyday life, events soon come thick and fast. Franzi also has to deal with her childhood sweetheart Max, who still hasn’t forgiven her for her sudden departure to Vienna. And the case leads back into the past to a very dark chapter in history….

Crime novelist Jennifer B. Wind comes from Styria herself. “Wasserfallsturz” is the first case in her Austrian crime series about policewoman Franzi Fürst and promises exciting entertainment for fans of regional crime novels with high standards!
