genialokal.de is a joint project between Libri GmbH, eBuch Service GmbH, and eBuch eG—the largest association and purchasing group in the German book trade. One of its main goals is to increase footfall in local medium-sized bookshops and strengthen them. That is why genialokal.de focuses primarily on “click & collect” with this service—and with great success. Around 80 percent of users have their ordered books sent to one of the affiliated bookstores and pick them up themselves.
