Eva Maria Nielsen

Eva Maria Nielsen has long lived mindfully and with respect for our common home. She now wants to express this attitude more strongly in her stories.

Her climate fiction does not focus on dystopian abysses, but on what we can gain together: a world that remains worth living in. Because she believes that stories should not only warn, but above all encourage – and that utopias are the first step towards change.

She wrote the short story “Sedna’s Hands” for the anthology “Saving the World for a Moment”.

I am involved with Climate Fiction Writers Europe because stories have the power to anchor change in our hearts - long before it becomes politically tangible.
